Description: A route system depicting all roads within or in close proximity to an administrative unit. A road is a motor vehicle travel way over 50 inches wide, unless classified and managed as a trail. Roads that are classified as Forest Roads shall be included in the layer. Forest roads are those roads that are wholly or partly within or adjacent to and serving the National Forest System that the Forest Service determines is necessary for the protection, administration, and utilization of the National Forest System and the use and development of its resources (36 CFR 212.1). Typically this includes all National Forest System Roads, County/State/or other roads managed by public road agencies that provide access to National Forest System lands. The layer may also contain, but is not required, locations of Unauthorized Roads (A road that is not a forest road or trail or a temporary road or trail and that is not included in a forest transportation atlas), Temporary Roads (A road necessary for emergency operations or authorized by contract, permit, lease, or other written authorization that is not a forest road or trail and that is not included in a forest transportation atlas), and/or private roads if they are needed for resource analysis or display. Route measurements and route directions must correspond to those stored in the Infra Oracle table RTE_BASICS. Major Updates 6/29/2012 for RO quarterly Road QAQC.Several updates in January 2013 were for roads that had a slightly different EMP attribute than what is in IWeb. These EMPs were set to be the same as Iweb (per standard) and recalibrated. The action date was updated, however the revision date was not changed as it reflects the revision of the spatial location which was not changed.Populated the Name field from the GC_RTE_BASICS_V table. Many routes had null rte_action fields, since all of the routes have been calibrated to the EMP in RTE_BASICS, they were all set as "properly calibrated". Many routes had null ACTION_STAMP or null REV_DATE fields. Null ACTION_STAMP fields were set to the same as the REV_DATE field, and null REV_DATE fields were set to the same as the ACTION_STAMP. All records with the ACTION_STAMP and REV_DATE in 2003 with null DATA_SOURCE values were set to "Original CFF" (cklein 2/12/2013)Last updated 12/11/2014
